For over a year now Lucas Martins and Märked have been working together on premieres for his techno projects. Our partnership has not only amplified Lucas’s distinctive techno signature but also propelled the Pathless label into the spotlight on numerous occasions.

Lucas didn’t start out making techno music. He was dragged into music in 2009 and had periods of hip-hop before getting into electronic music. This mix of experiences undoubtedly adds layers and richness to his music.

In a recent 2023 interview, Lucas Martins shared his dream collaboration would be with none other than Hans Zimmer, a testament to his aspiration towards melding cinematic grandeur with the raw energy of techno. This admiration for Zimmer’s work is not merely aspirational but serves as a foundational influence, particularly evident in Lucas’s melody-driven approach to techno.

Diving deep into the harder side of techno, Kenshō skillfully intertwines the relentless energy of the genre with the intricate melodies and emotional depth of ’90s trance, creating a unique sound that resonates with the current zeitgeist.

With regular appearances in London’s vibrant electronic music scene and the iconic clubs of Ibiza, Kenshō continues to solidify his standing as a force to be reckoned with in the world of techno.

In this 72nd set for Märked, Kenshō starts playing the experimental and gradually works his way up to percussion-driven groove machines. From the middle onwards kicks start becoming wider, deeper and more prominent.

92Groovz, originating from Cyprus and formerly Switzerland, represents the evolution into high-energy dance music, now channeling his unique style into electro, big beat, and techno. The project primarily features solo releases on the 92Groovz Recordings label, with an anticipated various artists compilation expected in 2024.

His DJ performances are known for a focus on the recent surge of rapid techno grooves, seamlessly integrating electro and big beat, along with distinctive tracks from his diverse music collection.

Ethan Fawkes, a Belgian DJ and producer, is known for his performances in old-school rave techno and EBM. His unique sound has gained him global recognition, with a growing portfolio of EPs, LPs, and remixes on top labels. Inspired by 80s and 90s music, he transitioned from grunge to electronic genres and started DJing in 1995. His influences include The Horrorist, Al Ferox, and Nitzer Ebb. He co-founded “Nu Body Records” for EBM and “Ethan Fawkes No Label” for self-released music.

Meet Cathédral, a dynamic force in the London techno scene and a creative powerhouse. Originally from France, this prolific producer is making a lasting mark with an array of exciting projects. Back in 2018, Cathédral teamed up with Ømen to establish MASS, a London event that evolved into a label. At MASS, they championed energetic sounds and free-spirited raves, all while supporting the important cause of mental health through their partnership with the charity Mind.

In 2020, Cathédral launched LABURNŪM Records. This label serves as a nurturing space for up-and-coming artists, spotlighting rapid rhythms and offering them on exclusive dubplate formats. With a knack for all things creative, Cathédral’s influence extends beyond music production. He’s deeply involved in every aspect of his labels, meticulously crafting music videos and designing artworks. He collaborates with local artists and even lends his own hand to painting.

Having left his mark on labels like Expel Your Demons and Omen Recordings, Cathédral’s focus has shifted towards house-infused techno with a nostalgic touch from the 90s and 00s. He’s a forward-thinker, propelling the classic feel forward into the future with unparalleled speed.

He has the talent to take the crowd on a journey – keeping the energy from start to finish.

As a prominent member of the established alias Earthscape, Rilé has been doing shows for the last six years as Earthscape at well-known venues and events such as Docklands Festival, Griessmühle, Fusion and Goethebunker.

In this mix, we’ll go from lush and hypnotic to contagious tracks driven by rhythmic drums and subtle synth grooves. The techno is bright and firm, the type you’d want to hear in the later hours at a day-light setting.
